Hardware, designed and built in Hawaiʻi

A hardware company building the home that takes care of itself.

Ecoroba designs and prototypes practical consumer hardware from Honolulu. We take the friction out of everyday life with products that are well made, genuinely useful, and built to last.

The vision

Build the appliance into the home, not on top of it.

Most home appliances are boxes you make room for. We think the better path is to build cleaning and storage directly into the home itself, so the appliance disappears into the architecture instead of cluttering it.

That idea is CubbyHome, and it is the long game behind everything we make. Ecoroba is not a company built around one invention. It is a long-term home for thoughtful products, with more on the way.

The concept

Dishes go from the sink into the wall.

No rack to pull out, no machine to load. Each dish slots into its own cubby, gets cleaned in place, and is stored right where it lands.

Products

What we are building.

First product

Cubby Washer

A modular dishwashing system that cleans dishes and stores them in the same place, designed to be built in rather than bolted on. It is the first product proving out the CubbyHome idea.

Patent pending. Prototyped and tested in Honolulu.

Capabilities

Design and prototyping in Hawaiʻi.

Ecoroba is a working hardware shop. We take ideas from sketch to functioning prototype in house, with mechanical design, electronics, and a wall of 3D printers running most days. Very few teams in Hawaiʻi do hands-on hardware like this, and we take on select prototyping and product development partnerships.
